SAMPLE OF TENTATIVE
SHOW RULES BASED ON PAST PROSPECTUS:
All artists 18 years and older can enter. Those who are interested must become members of the Montgomery Art Guild upon registering for the exhibition. To become a member of MAG, include a $40 check (payable to MAG) with your entry fee. Specifications MAG member artists are limited to two works. Work submitted must have been completed within the last two years. Three dimensional work will be welcome. Size limitations are: 2D, (framed) 40” x 40”; 3D, 36”l x 36”w x 84”h. All work must be dry and ready to hang or be exhibited. 2D works must have a secure wire–no sawtooth hangers! Gallery wrapped canvas under size limitation will be accepted, provided sides have been painted. All work that is freestanding must be prepared in an appropriate manner for exhibition. A very limited number of pedestals are available. Sectional two-dimensional works must be affixed to a backing unit that will hang on one hook. A completed entry card must be attached to the back of each work. A self-addressed stamped envelope must be provided with the entry for mailing of notification card. Fees There will be an at entry fee of $25. You may enter 1 or 2 pieces. Entry fees are made payable to MAG. Sales The Montgomery Art Guild will charge a 20% com­mission on the sale of works at this exhibit. If your work is not for sale, or if it is ineligible for the purchase award, please mark the registration card accordingly.

 Security : The University will provide security and insurance for the works while they are in the School of Nursing building. The School of Nursing reserves the right to final discretion of the works selected after having been received for the exhibition.

During the past April 23rd - May 9th 2006,  this art exhibition was on display at the A.U.M.'s  (Auburn University at Montgomery's) School of Nursing. The following awards were presented.

Again, this past art show ran April 23rd-May 9th at Auburn University Montgomery School of Nursing.

Directions to the space featuring the art show: When you get to the A.U.M. Campus on Taylor Road turn in the entrance, keep towards the Library tower (that's the tallest building on campus) - the School of Nursing is the only building to the left of the library tower.
